Download drivers or software

Follow these steps to install additional Canon drivers or software for your printer / scanner.

  1. Go to Canon Support.

  2. Enter your Canon model in the box. When your model appears below the box, click it.

    Type the model name of your product, then click on its listing below the text entry field

  3. Select Drivers & Downloads to the right of the image of your model.

  4. Select the Drivers, Software or Firmware tab depending on what you want to download. Software is used in the example below.

  5. Choose the Select button to the right of the software or driver file you wish to download. The Select button then becomes a Close button.

    Note Your software list may vary from the example you see here.

  6. Select Download to save the file to your computer.

Note for Chrome Users

 If you are having difficulties downloading any files from our website when using the Chrome browser, please use another web browser (Firefox, Edge, Safari, etc.).

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.


Install your download

Once the download is complete, double-click on the file from the download location. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation.


Special exceptions

Note If you use a Mac®, or have certain PIXMA TS, TR or CanoScan models, drivers aren't available because they use AirPrint technology for printing / scanning.
